Access to safe, high quality, entry level equipment is limited in our area. There is significant need for a retail tack and supply store in the South Okanagan. The overhead to stock and run such a business can be very limiting however. The Skaha Horsemanship Society can go a long way to minimizing some of those challenges by partnering with stake holders in our area to create a Re-Tack Store that can meet this need.
EQUIPMENT & RESOURCE LIBRARY
Many service providers, riding clubs, and member organization could benefit from access to equipment and resources like jumps, fencing, educational materials, obstacles, and tools. The Skaha Horsemanship Society is fundraising and seeking sponsorships to acquire, maintain, and properly store resources like these for the benefit of all. Help us get started. Perhaps you have some items to donoate or have the skill to help build them if a sponsor can help us with material costs.
